removing center console in a b5.5

some might find this pointless how ever for me being my first time attempting to remove this seemed a bit scary lol & i couldnt find a clear write up on this, most being people wanting there b5's to have the b5.5 console for the cup holders any way i found this link

lets just say its a very easy straight forward job taking no more then 15 min & that was swapping two cars over hope this helps some one else in the future : )
