Necessary Tools:
The main tools necessary to complete the job are the standard Torx (T20) and Phillips head screwdrivers.
People advise to disconnect the battery!!! (Have your Radio code handy???)
If you don't you risk fault codes on airbag!!! And possibly electric shock
You do not need to remove your steering wheel.
Removing clocks.
• ‒ → Remove two cross-head screws -arrows-.
• ‒ Take off upper steering column switch trim -1-.
• ‒ → Unclip fuse box cover -1-.
• ‒ Remove screws -arrows-.
• ‒ Take off driver's side storage compartment -2-.
• ‒ Pull connectors off lighting switch -3- and headlight range control adjuster
• ‒ → Slide cover -1- upwards and secure (e.g. screwdriver handle) -2-.
• ‒ Remove four screws -arrows-.
• ‒ Take off cover -3-.
• ‒ → Remove two screws -arrows-.
• ‒ Take out dash panel insert.
• ‒ Separate connections at the back (green and blue plug + red if you have navigation).
