doors taking several attempts to open from out side:

right after reading a few bits and bobs on my annoying drivers door taking normally 3-4 attempts to ruddy open i finally sorted it to day and took some pics thats should help other in the future

hear are some pics for doing this on drivers front door:
cap popped off


t20 torx bit required:


start un doing the torx bit then by prying on the lock from the out side i found it easier to drop a screw driver handle under the door handle as it slightly covers up the lock



then pull it out:



you can just see the little bit thats been causing all the trouble in this photo:



as u can see its right in side the handle so pop it out using screwdriver



i used my little fingers in side the lock to sort of pull the cable out and screwdriver to push it back in:



and its as simple as that put back together in reverse and jobs a good-un
