Right you need the following
10mm socket
12mm socket
7/32 allen key
First remove engine cover using 10mm socket - 3 nuts.
You will need to remove the airbox, my guide doesnt cover this as mines already gone
12mm socket needed for the 10 bolts on the cam cover. Dont worry about losing them, they are fixed into the cover.
Be careful and make sure you unclip the breather pipe and the cambelt housing (2 clips, one each side)
This is the offending pipe
To remove, take the 12mm and undo the nuts on the manifold, you may need to soak them in some WD40 for a while before attempting removal as theres not alot of room to give it some muscle.
Keep the nuts and gaskets, you will need these later.
Then tak ethe allen key and remove the 2 bolts on the underside of the EGR valve - first one is fairly easy, the 2nd one is why you need to remove the cam cover, its a pig to get to.
Once thats off simply use the old nuts and gaskets to fix the blanking plate over the hole in the manifold.
My plan is to use the EGR pipe, cut it and fix a breather filter on 1 end so no poo gets in.
