I have a Clarion SatNav, 6 CD changer and a 7" display that comes with a hideaway unit called a CNET box that everything connects to.
We hid it away in the rear nearside panel in my Passat estate (the removable bit). Unfortunately what I didn't realise was this was also where the rear wash pipe was routed from the front washer bottle and the bl***y pipe leaked over the CNET box and blew two of the IC's in it !!
Got it repaired by Clarion and have now sealed the pipe, I think, but as a safety measure have also put a piece of damp course plastic (thick plastic sheet) over the unit (still allows air circulation) and under the pipe so that if it does leak again the water doesn't drip into the unit.
Has anyone else had this problem, and if you did, how did you solve it?
