Hi Folks,
I have a pioneer aftermarket head unit that has been great and has been powering my stock speakers perfectly. I have blown my rear passenger speaker and my drivers front so I bought a new set of fronts to replace them before I move onto replacing the rears. I bought a pair of pioneers and fitted one side to replace the damaged one before doing the other side. After installing I noticed that the drivers side which is the pioneer is massively quieter than the stock speaker in the left side. Does this mean I need an amp to power this speaker?
The ones I bought are these ones from ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pioneer-17cm- ... 2749.l2649
I would really appreciate any advice on this as I was hoping the new speakers would be better than the stock ones and not so darn quiet.
