My gamma radio doesn't pickup am at all. Im one of the old gits who likes listening to radio 5 on the am frequency however it doesn't pickup any am channels. I've read that it's likely to be the antenna base gone bad. I looked at removing/moving the rear headlining of my Passat b5.5 saloon however the rear plastic trim between the rear door and rear screen is attached by an orange tag. Has anyone ever removed an antenna base from a saloon Passat as any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
