Replacing RNS315 in Passat B7

Despite paying for the latest maps when I picked up my Passat a few months ago, I've still ended up using Waze on my phone instead. As it's my birthday soon, and a major milestone one, I'm thinking of a stereo upgrade as a nice present to myself

The head unit I am thinking of getting is this one :

with the following add-on DAB module :

My questions are :

1) as I understand it, the integral DAB aerial is poo and isn't worth re-using. I think the DAB aerial that comes with the Pumpkin unit looks awful, so are there any recommend ones to get, eg shark fin style or any others?

2) from looking on eBay the RNS315 could fetch £300 second-hand. If I'm taking it out to sell, do I just need to remove the head unit, or is there another module I need to remove as well eg for GPS?

I'm also looking at getting a reversing camera, USB DVR camera & under-seat subwoofer hooked in to it all, so any recommendations appreciated
