Improving the Bass B6 - Estate

Afternoon.

I have a B6 Estate and I wear 2 hearing aids. The result is that my 'aids' cut off a lot of the bass frequencies, leaving me with irritatingly high treble frequencies.

is there a way of restoring the balance, which is beyond the realms of the equaliser controls in the radio.?

Can I boost the bass (maybe a sub-woofer- which wouldn't take up too much boot space-) I have a dog who travels in the boot.

Any other ideas ??
