rcd 310 dab radio , i need help with a usb interface

hi has anyone successfully fitted a usb device to a rcd 310? , ive got a dab model and have got the aux option with the jack pluginterface 12 pin white plug fitted to it , ive bought a 12 pin usb interface with the same plug , but when plugged in it doesn't play anything , see pics
