I took apart my JVC active windscreen aerial which looked horrible on the front screen... and run a coax cable from this to the rear screen and connected to third element (not used) and the signal strength is alot better and more reliable...
Not sure if its as good as the OEM amplifier but its better than using the JVC dab aerial on its own...
If anyone wants help let me know- it worth doing
