Mfd2 upgrade to rns510

Mfd2 upgrade to rns510
Hi just a quick post I've upgraded from a mfd2 to rns510 version h. My can gateway is a 3c0 907 530c I've read that this will cause battery drain issues my concern is how fast would the battery drain? I use the car everyday so should this be a problem until I can get a q gateway? Also my nav doesn't give me info in the instruments now do I need to upgrade these or will the gateway sort it?
