I've just got my B5 1.8T Sport Estate - still had the original tape deck - actually that's the problem it still has!

Just been down to Halfords and picked up a 4x50W MP3 Playing Aux in CD Head Unit for £60 which seems fair - couldn't be bothered to wait for internet delivery.

Now then...how do you get the old Gamma Unit out. I've pulled or prised of two sort of caps bottom left and bottom right. What's next?

Also do I need to disconnect the battery before fitting or just go for it!?
