RCD 300 Ipod or Aux in connection

I have a 2006 passat tdi 140 sport but it only has the rcd 300 cd player so there is no aux in socket in the centre console. I know how to remove the stereo but need to ask a couple of things first. No radio code came with the car so if I take the stereo out will I have to enter a code OR is the car coded to the stereo? Secondly is it possible to attach an aux in or ipod interface to this particular radio model?Thanks in advance
