As mentioned on another thread, I was keen to upgrade my RCD500 for a 510(in my 2006 B6 estate). Well, patience has never been a strong point of mine so I now have a RCD510 waiting to go in. Q version Can-bus gateway is on it's way (not from China) and also a aerial adapter cable should be here soon.
I went for the DAB model but one thing is bothering me.
What should I connect to the DAB aerial socket? Sounds like a stupid question but I've heard that passive aerials aren't that good so can anyone recommend anything? If I go for an active type aerial where is best to mount it and where do I take the power for it from?
