Tiger Seal ... any good for a house?

I have never used Tiger Seal, but I have seen it mentioned here, so I have a question for anyone who has used it.

Would it be any good for sealing between a timber window frame and the brickwork of a house?

At the moment the frames are sealed with silicone, but it tends to shrink over a couple of years or so, and is then useless. I have seen 'frame sealants' listed at Screwfix and the like, but they also say that general purpose silicone can be used in that application, so I am not too sure I trust their judgement!

I also feel that automotive products tend to be better quality than those of the building trade, hence I am thinking of using Tiger Seal instead.

Any advice or opinion will be gratefully received.

Thanks
