Cleaning alcohol needed

I've been having problems with a DVD player not playing properly. Been advised to clean the lens. Tried one of those dvd Lens cd but didn't work.
I've not got the dvd opened up so I can see the lens which I can clean with a q tip but need something call isopropyl alcohol or rubbing alcohol.
Where do I get this from ? Asda ? Boots ?
