eBay seller no longer registered!!

Tried speaking to eBay customer services and also tried the online chat thing. But just to check.

If I purchased something about 6 months ago and it's become faulty, the seller is no longer registered, is there anything I can do or is it game over?

My dashcam cradle where it connects into and gets gps info has become faulty, I can buy another one for 20 pounds but thought I would ask the question.
