How to start an argument!

Theres plenty on the interweb but I want to know the opinions of real people who use these phones, I know its a can of worms but my wife's and my own contracts are due up this weekend and end of the year and I'm toying with the idea so let me know what you think

Do we go for the Nexus 5 when its released, current android users, or make the switch to the iphone5?

Phones for both of us are used mainly for calls/text but also music, internet and satnav/mapping, both fairly tech savvy.
