B6 Styling?

Post by Bahnsturmer »

Hell's teeth,
I have a black 2.0L TDI 140 Sport on a 55 plate and scheisse, it's a proper motorway muncher!! It's now at 90k on the clock and still pulls like a total train in 6th. It's about to go for service, cambelt and water pump once I've agreed a price from an indy specialist. :hyst
But, I'm convinced it looks 'proper' menacing as it looms large in the rear view mirror as it does a marvellous 'beware the hun in the sun' :0 impression behind the average joe blogs' mon-dago or Fox - Haul. But, looking at the various owners photos on site and having cruised various non pornographic websites looking for styling accessories.....there doesn't seem to be a huge amount available for the b6 so I'd be glad to hear about any suppliers? I don't want to do anything distasteful or make the car something it isn't but..... a couple small tasteful detailing mods may be cool. Most owners seem to change wheels and tyres and maybe adjust paintwork/front debadged grills. Is this simply because the car looks classy as is, which IMHO it does, or is it because there are few parts available?
I plan to leave the alloy wheels 'as is' but to take out the chrome on the front and have it matched to the paint and then have some quality snappy decals applied to the rear end to advertise my 'malcyart' website. I'll post photos when complete.
Your views on 'styling' would be appreciated. :ymhug:
Today Germany - Tomorrow the World!! Vorsprung Durch world domination!!
Kind Regards
