I never tend to bother with anti virus and firewalls, I've got my internet connection through a router so as long as I dont invite anything in myself that acts as a hardware firewall.

Takes half the time to boot up without all that stuff on, just got to be careful where I browse.

My Zone Alarm was fine until I followed the prompt about an updated version. When I rebooted it wouldn't even allow me to start up my computer in anything but safe mode so I had to uninstall it. I've tried loading it again a couple of times but it does the same every time.... I wish I hadn't bothered now and stuck with the version I had :?

My AVG works great but I'm now without a firewall apart from whatever is installed with AOL broadband as standard???
