Hi everyone, this is my first post as i am new to the site. Can I put out a big shout to all the Passat owners that turned up at the show! Glad turned up on the Sunday with the good weather too. Lets hope we can get even more people to the next show and show just how good our cars are. My only dissapointment is the lack of parts on the trade stalls, have they forgotton us!!? Will get some photos of car on here soon, when I get time!

Check the shows lists and events.

As a club we are doing santa pod and leeds vw festival.

If you want to come, read the threads and get your name down.

As we did at Git, bring a buffet is in place.

Cheers, and on behalf of all the members that attended, Myself and Simon's gallant talent of Organisation... Then we're glad you enjoyed the Stand.

Hi Col, it was a toss up between Harewood and Edition 38.

We chose Harewood because Markpassrat said it was good, it as air-cooled dubs there, and would be probably more suited to the northern members, due to the fact we've done/doing two midlands shows so far.

Would have loved to do E38 as I missed it last year :(

But I'll be trudging across europe (Up and down the Swiss alps !!!!) in a £70 Escort van on a Banger Rally to Prague.

I do it as fun belive it or not

Yep thats the one.

I did Staples2Naples last year in a BMW 320i. I'd seriously recommend onee of these to anyone - best road trip of my life. Although we went to a few places on the way home too, Piza, Cannes, Monaco and Paris

In total 10 days and 4k miles in a car that cost us £100

http://www.czechwrecks.com/index.esp

Think theres a few places left too

p.s. sorry this has gone a little off topic - feel free to start a new thread if people want to ask qustions they can stick them in there, I'll answer any the site dosent answer

I came across the staples to naples website last year and found a little video on the durbster.co.uk website for the 2005 rally. It looks like such a laugh.... I really, really want to have a go 8)
