Problem with using alternatives is that they could well collapse or do something similar to photobucket. The best option is to upload the photos to the website directly then they are there as long as the site is.
There are ways around this at the moment.
I have just quickly resurrected all the 11 pages of my Passat build thread by adding ~original after the .jpg on all the images.
It doesn't work for movies unfortunately , however this is liable to be a temporary thing.
Uploading photos usually to a site usually requires that they be resized as pretty much any phone these days takes photos that are at least 3meg.
I use the batch conversion/rename option on Irfanview Great piece of free software that I use for viewing images on my PC.

http://www.irfanview.com/

Then if you use Chrome there is a bit of a work around that adds ~original to photobucket links so they work.

For those that use Google chrome browser and use several forums, all of which will be plagued by this but few will have this fix in place, I have a extra little helper.

This works by adding ~original to the end of each photobucket url.
God knows how long until PB cotton on and stop it working but a good temporary fix atm.

Download this Google chrome extension

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... nfo-dialog

Install and make sure it is enabled.

In it's options in the JavaScript box enter:

$(document).ready(function () {
$('img').each(function () {
var img = $(this);
var imgsrc = img.attr('src');
if (imgsrc.indexOf("photobucket.com") !== -1) {
img.attr("src", imgsrc + "~original");
}
});
});

And hay presto at least for now any site you visit with broken photobucket pics will be restored biggrin.png

The chrome java ext looks like a client end rewrite rule.

Whenever chrome loads a webpage with pb image links, it alters them to add original onto every link and so fixing them intil pb catch on and nerf the workaround.

Using any such service puts you at risk of a change to service terms sooner or ater.

There is an option on photobucket to download or export to download all.

Have not got photobucket so can't look now.

I downloaded all my pictures from photobucket then uploaded em to Imgbb, problem is you have to redo all links on websites which is a bitch.

Probably too much for the server to cope with in one request!
