Home Made Windscreen Wash Fluid

Has anyone had any success in making their own windscreen washer fluid?
I know it's not hugely expensive, however as a household we like to keep our recycling/waste to a minimum and I can't see the active ingredients being anything too hard to get hold of etc... we make our own surface cleaner etc already.
I am googling it too, but thought I'd ask on here as well
