7 seater opinions

Hello ukpassats
My b5 is gradually falling to pieces and it think it may be nearing the time for her to go to the scrap man.
My girlfriend is pregnant and when the sprog is here we will quite often need atleast 6 seats. I want something reasonably economical.
So far my main options are the smax or a mitsubishi outlander. I dont really need a 4x4 so can leave in 2wd I just wouldnt mind giving a small jeep a go.
I dont like the vw touran its just too boring.
Dont have lots to spend (5-6000) just wondering if anyone else had any suggestions?
Dont want a zafira either thats a no go!
