Picture not for the squeamish...

Post by BIG F@ TW@ »

Today I started to replace the old cloth braided vac pipes with nice silicone ones. Removed the air feed ducting and found this!

The wiring was severely battered, and also the plastic vac piping was nearly worn through completely.

I have been having an issue with the idle speed rising and dropping back to normal sporadically, so I thought this was the culprit, but even after fixing as all this it's still doing it.

It will sit fine for about a minute, then it rises to about 900rpm, then will settle back down again. This repeats every so often. Any ideas? ImageImage
