Should I get 19" AUDI RS6 alloys?

Post by Raf Welsh Passat »

Hi all

I know this kinda topic has been covered a lot, 19" alloys wheel ride quality etc etc
I've been looking for alloys a long time now, I had idea of getting genuine 18" vw passat Kansas alloys, then I thought 18" telladega alloys from VW Gold R mk6...
But there always and first were AUDI RS6 ALLOYS
Now they usually come in 19" 255/35; 9,5j; 33 offset
Currently Im running 17" Fontana alloys, 235/45; 7,5j; 45 offset
If Im right, these 19" with 35 profile will give me 8mm higher ride than my existing setup
I'm considering all that, add the tyre width, offset, would it catch on suspension or wheel arches, well anything.

If youve done it yourself, have experience with such swap, or know any more than me, let me know, everything will be much appreciated :esm

I'll add that my passat was lowered 40mm front, 35mm rear
2.0TDI 187bhp 395Nm = 70mpg
B-)
