Cambelt quote

Just out of interest I got quoted to do the Mrs 2003 beetle tdi aft engine Cambelt water pump anti freeze and aux belt £270 including vat. Sounds ok. I priced up the bits on euro car parts and it comes to £167 anyway so it's a saving of £100 if I do it myself. Mm I thought I would be saving more. I won't use eBay for Cambelt as I had a bad experience when I bought my kit for my Passat on there I gave them the reg no . Engine code and even chassis no. But they sent me the wrong kit. Boo. Any thoughts on the price.
My Passat I got quoted £386 to do the same it's a b6 bxe engine mine. I did it myself took 4 hours. Bought the kit water pump and locking tool kit. Con in at just over £110 in parts so a bit of a saving.
