How far do you go with a full tank?

Hi,

I got a passat b6 2.0 tdi and recently did just under 400miles from Paris back to the UK and still had half a tank left after a 7h drive, I thought hell yea, not bad, especially with the new 19inch rims and wider tyres I fitted!

Is this unusual?
