We went to look at a Mk4 1.4s in Paddock Wood and I was surprised to find only keyed entry - no fobs, despite the flashing LED in the door pin and the windows coming down when holding the key in unlock.
Ah yes, I was told, that's because it's an 'S' - fobs only arrive on SE spec. Wasn't going to buy it anyway - clutch was right at the top, stone chips aplenty, and a rattly top end
Can anyone confirm if this is the case or if the seller was being imaginative with the truth?
Oh and Sally's new car will be a 5dr, 1.4 to 1.6 (1.8 at a push). Not a GTI, not red or white and she quite likes Jazz blue
