After the Re-Gen did not work.... UPDATE!!!!!!!

Sadly, it seems a ReGenerate did not work so it looks like either a new DPF or a remove.
Been quoted £1300+ for a new DPF at local dealers.
So I looked at getting it removed and found a company quite close to me able to do it for £299+vat.
What should I do?
£299+ vat includes removal of DPF and inserting a piece of exhaust and doing a re-map.

I suppose with the £299+vat option I will have no further worries about it happening again and I have heard they can clog up after a mere 5000 miles.

Any ideas folks.

Just got the car home after it going into limp mode.
Just gotta find someone near Cardiff who can remove the DPF for me and do a re-map.
