Something to replace the B5

Post by madrob6 »

So I was thinking last night that I should probably get something to replace the B5 when it's gone and have something small and cheap so the missus can learn to drive without fear of destroying a big motor and if anything happens to it I can just shrug it off without too much worry.

I was looking around autotrader and saw a 1995 3 door 1.3 Polo which I'm sure after a good polish, set of wheels and a small drop would look rather respectful and I can insure me and the missus on it for £230.

Any other suggestions out there or anything to look out for with the polos? Small engine is a must as I don't want to be shelling out for a lot of road tax on a car that will barely get used.
