Air worth it?
Really wann put air on my 5.5 just wondering how they ride an drive on air,
Does it end up feeling like a boat?
How much difference have people had on the tracking between top and drop, I'm quite low at the minute on coilys and have not had to change my tracking had it checked and they said it was fine,
Also looking to do the install myself is tere anyone on here that can supply the gear, like the struts and rear balloons and what not, I should be able to sort out my own compressors and I'll be making the tank myself
Need the cheapest option really
Cheers

Re: Air worth it?
I wouldnt go back to coils now
Ride is softer than coils and a tad boat like but not as harsh as coils or as soft as stock suspention
Tracking wise just needs to be done at your pefered ride height that your going to do alot of driving at
Surprised your tracking is fine after being lowered

Re: Air worth it?
I couldn't either on my 18's I wore the insides out because of camber but have had the standard wheels now for over a year and the tyres have been on for two years, and they are still perfect

Re: Air worth it?
Yea thats the way it goes i think its because the bigger walls on the smaller stock wheel some how spread the wear better than 18 with low profile side walls!

Re: Air worth it?
Yeah think so as the entire tread sits on the floor, there prestivio tyres and I've has to put one on the rear in about 15-16000 miles ha

my b6 is -100mm on coils it takes me an extra 20 mins to go to town to avoid speed bumps ,the wife is so happy it has made me drive slower

My tyres are lasting longer and my ride is smoother
I just love it.
