Whats the deal with mirroring no claims bonuses??

I am currently insured on my heavilly modified T4 with Adrian Flux and have just bought my B5.5 tdi sport as a daily for my new job and the best they could do to get the second policy was £645. The person i spoke to in customer services said that other companies will also mirror but i'm dammed if i can find anywhere that will do it. Is this is good as it gets for me?? I'm not particularly looking forward to paying two monthly payments totaling £130 per month!

Any suggestions would be appreciated
