B7 model opionions

Post by pachanga231 » Sun Aug 11, 2019 12:22 pm

Hi

Been away from VW for a few years, prior. had a b5.5 for ten years and currently drive a merc e280cdi sport.

Whats peoples opinions on a auto model, any pros/cons, i wont be modifying it much really. Are all the diesels bluemotion and quite economical? Are the B7 still quite spacious, my b5.5 had plenty of rear legroom.

I have recently purchased a Passat b7 2.0tdi 140 bhp sport tech.

Mpg is really good (average 60mpg)

Sport tech has parking assist, front and rear parking sensor and Sat nav.

Car is really comfortable compared to my last car (BMW 330d)

Hi

I've had one (2012 model) since 2015, 2.0Tdi SE 140 bhp, auto, 42k-ish (now 68k) pleased with it.

Relatively minor work - CTS, thermostat, tyre pressure sensor on a wheel, probably battery afore this winter (preventative), 2 of original tyres (on back).
Changed original headlight bulbs.

So far good.

I have a 2014 executive style 1.6tdi, it’s a top of the range so comes with 18” wheels and lowered sports suspension as standard, touch screen sat nav, bi xenon lights, daytime leds, full leather, heated front etc....£30 tax and averaging 55mpg around town, 65+ on a good run. Love it 👍🏼
