Tough one saying what your fuel consumption should be. Based on my insignia with a similar engine that sounds about right. My Passat with the 190 engine would be nearer 50mpg sat at 60 I suspect.

Our 2015 GT 2.0TDi 150 Estate will get to 55-60mpg when cruising at an indicated 73mph, we drive it in ‘individual’ (everything set to ‘notmal’ apart from the steering which is heavier). If the car is set to ‘eco’ then put it in normal, eco is rubbish and your economy is hampered by always having your foot through the firewall. This is how the car was set up when handed over and I was unimpressed driving the car Home down the A14 at 73mph getting 45mpg but this definitely improved.

Overall we get 45mpg which is fine as the car does pots of short trip and we tow a 1300kg caravan.

What is the issue you have with the car?

2015 VW Passat 2.0TDi 150 manual GT Estate in Deep Impact Black
2016 Bailey Pursuit 430/4 shed, AKA ‘Percy’

Indigo Blue Sport Wagon 0.34 m-1 blower .

I'd give her some 'trivago' .
