I'm looking for a people carrier. I know stylin?, has or had a Mk1 Galaxy.
I'm looking at the VR6 mk2..... so the 200bhp V6 in either the Sharan or the Galaxy.
Anyway, the Passat has a private sale estimation of around £2,200. P/x is about £1,340.
What would you all recommend regarding the Passat?. Save for several more months and buy outright or p/x?. Seems strait forward, but I have another month to buy and outright would require another 2 - 3 months saving.
I might add too, I've been watching the price of the V6 MPV's. They use to sit at around 1500 - 2000 for 90,000 mile models. Now, that the time is upon me, they've jumped in price by 2k. Sods law and all that.
