Exhaust wrap

Post by mini_dub »

Basicly just after a bit of info on the stuff really!!

Was thinking of wrapping the first section on my downpipe to try and help reduce under bonnet temps and ultimately reduce intake temps!

I have used it before and other than being a ball ache to use had no issues with the stuff, but I have done some reading about and there are a few claims it catches fire if you leave the small gaps between the wrap and the exhaust heat leak thro the gap and heat the edge of the wrap up till it catches fire! Surly this carnt be the case??

Anyone had any experiences with it??
