should i or shouldnt i?
running costs? etc are they a swine to maintain - 2 turbos 4 wheel drive and almost 1700kgs sounds quite scary.i intend to put k04s on it if i do as a chipped (300bhp) 2.7t wouldnt be faster than my 260 bhp 1.8t - would you have to take the engine out when you replace the turbos. I currently get 26 mpg and change oil every 6k on the ssat. If anybody could point me towards an article on buying, looking after and tuning the 2.7t id be grateful.
ps B5 S4s are just too expensive. i take it s4 and the 2.7t have the same hardware and i understand that the power of the 2.7t was capped so it wouldn't go too near the a6 4.2. So what are the differences? Would a chipped 2.7t (230) give the same power as a chipped (265) S4?
