went out for a run the other day ( '99 b5 1.9tdi) and was listeng to a cd on the standard, factory fit cd player, and noticed as I increased speed, the volume would also increase. imperceptibly at first, and I thought I was imagining it, so I booted it, and once above 60mph it rose steadily and definitely; by the time I hit a ton (tanking around my private motorway in the back garden, of course) it was unbearably loud. decreasing the speed of the car had no effect on the volume, only the acceleration. I tried it a few times, strictly for scientific purposes you understand, and it happened everytime. any idea why?
I've had cars where the wipers go faster when you accelerate, or the lights go brighter or the fans blow harder, but never affected the stereo volume.
