Winchester monthly meet

Post by Glynn » Thu Jul 05, 2012 6:16 pm

The Winchester monthly meet is the first Thursday of every month starting at roughly 1900, the location for the meet is the car park on the address below

Worthy Lane, Winchester, SO23 7AB.

Right been chatting to a few people today on here, we have come up with a meet location of winchester. Iam thinking of somewhere like the multistorey car park in the town centre ( i have only been there once so reallying on the guys that live there for some other, mybe more suitable places with food and toilets) i am thinking about making it for early september.

I don't know the town exactly, but so far I know the multistory is in the center of Winchester and there is a McDonald's, Domino's and something else :D
so I think there are some toilets in McDonald's at the bottom of the car park :-?
but I was thinkig this will be quicker then September :((

i know winchester well, lived there for 7 years, opposite of the multistory car park
there is a big open air carpark wich i'd say lot better for a little meet.
The multistory is very narrow and it could be problem for lowered cars as well.
Lots of options around let me know if i can help to organise this :ymhug:

Sounds like a plan, just looked at the show calendar and there is a major show every weekend up until the second weekend of September unless a week day evening is better for people

I'm up for it when I'm about. Why not in the week once a month or every other month say the second tuesday of the month at a pub with a big car park In around Winchester? I'm only guessing and popping random ideas out there

NO NO NO
Monday to Wednesday evening is a no no, cause I'm working evenings!!!
I started the idea for the UKP southern meet, not to be left out again cause of the time of the week the meet will be held on [-x
I have few different meets in my area but all of them are held on the Tuesday or Wednesday evenings, so I can't go :((
