I'm having a bit of a struggle at the moment with my Passat B8 2.0 TDI 150bhp.
Some time ago I got check engine come on my passat, plugged in obd11 and got error code P190D00. It means mechanical failure on charge cooler electric water pump.
Took it to a vw specialist, pump replaced, error code cleared.. 2 days later, same error code. Back to garage, another pump.... error cleared... 2 days later. .. check engine, same error... same pump... Pump is fine, wiring is fine, so no ideia what the problem is. The vw specialist garage told me... "Sorry mate, we have no idea on what the problem is... please visit a vw dealer"
Has anyone had any similar issues with these electric pumps? Could it be something else triggering the error?
