Stop/Start remember setting?

Hi All
I have moved from a B7 into a B8,and wonder if there is any way to get the StopStart to remember which setting was last used?
I don't want to disable it completely, I just want it to remember if it was turned off on the previous ignition cycle like the B7 used to be able to do? There doesn't appear to be a function for it in Carista, just voltage (method 1), or on/off (method 2).
