I have had a number of issues including car stalling repeatedly at low speeds and hesitant starting after charging that I suspect are both battery related.
I am aware there was a dodgy batch of Moll EFB batteries in 2017 and mine is a 67 plate 2.0 TDI 150 GT.
I have had to call a recovery firm out once and they used a power pack on a dead battery (after driving for 30 mins) and even after charging it can struggle to start. Is it possible to check the status of the battery with OBD11?
Car is going into local VW garage on Monday for a service, so I will get them to check both battery and alternator.
Anyone had any battery issues in warranty and if so how was it addressed by VW?
