Sub Woofer option

Post by smilie121 »

I am not wanting thundering bass, just a bit more punch.

Has anyone installed a sub or know if there is a cable or socket hidden away in the boot? I had a quick look last night and didn't see anything

I was looking at this : https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/3 ... -tyre-sub/

These can be purchased for as little as £30 to £40 on eBay and have an amp inside. Not sure if the radio unit would have the required dedicated socket on the back or even the cable run.

Otherwise there is the old option of piggy backing off the cable for the bass speaker in the bottom of the door via a powered amp - delivering low to the doors and a bit more to the newer sub.

I have 2 decent sounding sub's from failed sound bar's that requires external amplification. So that's always an option.
