Tow bar wiring - can bus connectiosn

Morning all,
I'm fitting a PF Jones dedicated wiring kit on to my B8 saloon, instructions are to swap out pins in the BCM unit to run bcak to there towing module.
I have the car in bits and can't get the 2 connectors out of the BCM, hands to big !!
Does the BCM drop out of its mount?
The pin / cable swap is straight forward if I can get to the connectors
Any suggestions
