Lowering my passat b8 2.0 bitdi but.....

Post by mick1984 »

just got the eibach pro kit delivered 35mm front and 30mm rear. went to see my local garage to see about getting them fitted. however, they took one look at the car and said "nope not touching it" my car is a 2015 passat b8 bitdi 4motion and apparently is too modern. they said that lowering my car will cause complications such has messing up steering geometry, shocks and it will mess up other sensors, and will put error lights on all over the place. they advised against it tbh, but as i already have the springs i want to go through with it. he advised me to go to a vw specialist who will know what they are dealing with. i called my local vw specialist and he said they can fit the springs for me but i would then have to purchase a kit that bassically resets the lights on the dash. they dont supply the kit so i will have to but it online. would anyone happin to know what this kit is called??
