Headlight bulbs

Hi all and a very happy new year to everyone.
I want to change my OEM headlight bulbs to something with better light output. I have already purchased a pair of +%130 dipped beam bulbs, H7.
I am confused though regarding the main beam bulbs, I have found conflicting information with some sources saying they are also H7 and others saying they are H9.
Does anyone know for certain just what they please.
