Park Assist is it any good ?

Got the new R Line on order with Park Assist, just wondering if it's any good ?
Only cost £205, if it's as good as the you tube videos then it'll be the best option I've chosen but the salesperson says it's rarely chosen.
A friend of mines wife has got park assist on a Beemer but in a year she's been too frightened to use it !
