discover nav, is it poss to play video files

hey all,

fairly new to this forum, I have a R Line Passat Est 190 which I collected on 1st Dec and am wondering if its possible to play video files on the discover nav unit when stationary?

I have done a bit of Googling and cant find anything specific to the Passat, the golf forums say no!

is this correct, if so is there a workaround to get them playing, I use an IPhone 6s.
its just when I am stopped for lunch in some random layby it could amuse me to watch something.
